My story

Experience that informs.
Kindness that matters.

18+years working within
health & social care

I founded Cheshire Home Support by Yasmin to help people remain comfortable, independent and happy in their own homes.

My career began as a Home Care Support Worker. Supporting people with everyday activities taught me how much compassionate, reliable help can mean, and how important it is for people to keep their independence at home.

In 2017, I graduated from the University of Salford with a degree in Occupational Therapy. Since qualifying, I have worked as an Occupational Therapist within the NHS for over eight years, across a wide range of settings and with people of all ages and varying needs.

That experience has given me a strong understanding of dignity, wellbeing, rehabilitation and the practical things that help people feel safe and confident in their home environment. I have also had the privilege of working closely with individuals, families and multidisciplinary teams, always with the person's own priorities at the centre.

Cheshire Home Support brings that understanding to friendly, non-medical help with everyday living. Whether you would like company, help with shopping, household tasks or someone to accompany you to an appointment, my aim is to make life a little easier and more enjoyable.

As a local independent business, I value getting to know the people I support and their families. I want you to feel comfortable saying what you need, what you enjoy and how you prefer things to be done.
